Apply through the California Board of Registration in Nursing well before your start date. ACLS certification is required for all cardiac RN assignments. BLS is universally required. Hemodynamic monitoring experience is a baseline requirement. Most facilities expect competency with arterial/venous sheath management, conscious sedation, and emergency response protocols including IABP and temporary pacemaker management.
