Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in a busy interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization program. You'll deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment supporting both diagnostic and interventional cases.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 06:30–15:00 (5×8 hours)
- 7 call shifts per pay period (7 overnight calls per 14 days)
- Call teams typically include 3–4 staff; the facility aims to staff 4-person teams
- You may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll manage patients undergoing diagnostic catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and pulmonary artery line monitoring. Responsibilities include procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and supporting complex cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- Current California state license (Compact license acceptable)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab experience
- Two professional references covering the past 3 years
