Licensing & Credential Requirements
Travel CT Tech positions require active ARRT certification in the appropriate modality. Most facilities also expect current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. North Carolina requires radiologic technologists to be licensed through the NC Medical Board Radiologic Technologist Committee. Many facilities require ARRT (R) as a primary credential in addition to the CT specialty. IV certification or competency verification for contrast administration is increasingly standard. Facilities with Level I or II trauma designations may require demonstrated emergency CT experience.
