CT Technologist — Night Shift | Winston-Salem, NC

Contract: 13 weeks (extensions available through February 2027)

Shift: Nights, Friday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (3x12-hour)

Scrubs: Royal Blue

About the Role

This high-volume CT position is based in a busy emergency department setting serving all patient age groups — from ambulatory patients to the most critically acute. The unit performs approximately 200 exams daily across four CT rooms, with a diverse mix of routine and complex studies.

Clinical Scope

• CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs
• Contrast preparation and administration; IV starts
• Preferred experience: biopsies, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction

Patient Population: Neonates through geriatrics, including pediatric and acute care patients

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CT experience, including trauma exposure
• Prior travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be accepted
• ARRT with CT registration; BLS required
• Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU work setting experience
• Proficiency with PACS systems

Preferred: Outpatient, NICU, and Level I Trauma experience

Scheduling & Other Details

• Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday nights
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays, even if outside the Fri–Sun schedule
• No call or float requirement
• Travelers must bring their own personal dosimeter (any brand accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• RTO must be pre-approved; no RTO requests after signing or during the first week
