CT Technologist – Travel Contract | Charlotte, NC
Nights | Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 13 Weeks
This CT department serves a diverse patient population spanning adult acute care, outpatient, emergency, and pediatric settings, performing approximately 70 exams per day. The role requires strong independent scanning skills and comfort with a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- 3x12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Friday, Saturday & Sunday schedule only
- Call requirement: 1–2 weeks of call during the assignment (based on rotation)
- No float requirement
Clinical Scope
- CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, vascular, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and trauma imaging
- 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Contrast preparation and administration; peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
- Radiation safety protocols; isolation/PPE compliance
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- experience required
- ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications
- NC or Compact state license (pending acceptable at submission)
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Scrubs: Royal Blue (not provided)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Up to 7 days of pre-approved RTO (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week
- Orientation attendance is mandatory — missing any portion may delay or cancel your start
