Travel Cath Lab RN Jobs in South Carolina

Cath Lab Registered Nurses provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures. They perform conscious sedation, monitor hemodynamics, manage arterial and venous sheaths, administer anticoagulants, and respond to procedural emergencies including cardiac arrest. ACLS certification is required; many facilities prefer PALS and hemodynamic monitoring experience. All 1 current openings are concentrated in a single city, making this a focused market for travel Cath Lab RN professionals in South Carolina. Typical contracts run 13 weeks at 36 hours per week. The current shift mix is 1 night.

Licensing & Credential Requirements

An active, unencumbered RN license is required. South Carolina is a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. RNs holding a multistate compact license issued by their home state can practice in South Carolina without obtaining a separate state license, which simplifies onboarding significantly. ACLS certification is required for all cardiac RN assignments. BLS is universally required. Hemodynamic monitoring experience is a baseline requirement. Most facilities expect competency with arterial/venous sheath management, conscious sedation, and emergency response protocols including IABP and temporary pacemaker management.
