Cardiac Cath Lab RN – 7 PM–7 AM

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work the night shift (7 PM–7 AM) in a busy interventional cardiology suite performing complex coronary and structural procedures.

Unit Details

The cath lab manages high-acuity patients undergoing left heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR), permanent pacemaker insertions (PPM), Impella support, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placements. The unit operates two labs with approximately 10 cases daily.

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 7 PM–7 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Call: 7–9 days monthly, with at least one weekend call required
• Weekends & holidays: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff employees

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1+ year cath lab experience (required)
• Advanced emergency medication knowledge
• Scrubs provided

What You'll Need

Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to manage rapidly changing patient conditions, and comfort working independently during night hours in a fast-paced environment.
