Cardiac Cath Lab RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac catheterization lab. This is a 26-week contract position.
Schedule & Expectations
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Call: 7–9 days per month (minimum one weekend rotation)
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a busy cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), pacemaker insertion (PPM), Impella support, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement. The lab handles approximately 10 cases daily across two labs.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Minimum 1+ year cath lab experience
- Advanced knowledge of emergency medications
- Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced interventional environment
