Licensing & Credential Requirements

Travel CT Tech positions require active ARRT certification in the appropriate modality. Most facilities also expect current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Pennsylvania does not require a separate state license for ARRT-certified radiologic technologists. Many facilities require ARRT (R) as a primary credential in addition to the CT specialty. IV certification or competency verification for contrast administration is increasingly standard. Facilities with Level I or II trauma designations may require demonstrated emergency CT experience.
