Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Complex Care | Rochester, NY | Nights | 16-Week Contract

This position places you in a complex care Med/Tele unit managing a diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patient population with varying acuity levels. The role is well-suited for an experienced RN comfortable with cardiac monitoring, complex medical cases, and a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute med/surg or telemetry experience
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work experience
• 2 years of recent experience preferred
• Active New York RN license required
• AHA BLS required

Additional Expectations

• Float to other units as needed based on facility demands
• Charge nurse role is requested but not required; training available
• Schedule flexibility required; block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Must be willing to work at least one holiday during the contract period
