Night Shift RN — Med/Tele Complex Care
About the Role
Join a medical-surgical telemetry unit as a night shift RN on a 16-week contract. You'll provide care for complex medical and cardiac patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Availability: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
Clinical Scope
You'll manage a mixed acuity patient population on a med/tele unit, with the option to assume charge nurse responsibilities (training provided if needed). Flexibility to float to other units as needed based on facility demands.
Requirements
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience; at least 1 recent year in med/surg or tele
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work history required
- Willing to work charge when assigned
- Reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Contract Details
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: January 5, 2027
- Guaranteed hours: 112 weeks
Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed. You'll need to remain flexible to accommodate the facility's scheduling needs.
