Registered Nurse – Acute Care of Elderly Unit
Position Overview
The facility seeks an RN for a 16-week night shift assignment on an Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care unit. This is a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry environment caring for older adults with complex acute and chronic conditions.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- Weekend requirement: 1 shift per week OR 2 shifts every other weekend
- Minimum 1 holiday shift required during contract
- Flexibility with schedule adjustments as needed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience
- 2 years U.S. work experience required for international candidates
- Reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred
- 2+ years recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience
- Charge nurse experience (requested but not required)
Contract Details
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start: December 1, 2026
- Location: Rochester, NY
- Guaranteed hours: 112 contract weeks
- Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
