ICU Neuro Nurse – 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse to join the neurocritical care unit on the night shift. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing complex neurological conditions and post-operative neuro patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Dates: Every Monday
• Travel Radius: 50-mile radius (local applicants only)

Requirements

• Current RN license (GA or compact state)
• Minimum 18 months of neuro ICU experience within the past 3 years
• Certifications Required:
• CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• Strong clinical foundation in neurological assessment and critical care protocols

What to Expect

You'll care for patients with acute neurological conditions, post-neurosurgical cases, and stroke patients. The role requires strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic ICU setting.
