Travel Nurse – Emergency Department
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced travel nurse for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a registered nurse
- License: Current Georgia or compact license (required in hand)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Travel Experience: Preferred
- Geographic Flexibility: Willing to work within 50-mile radius; local travelers not considered
What You'll Do
Deliver compassionate emergency care to acutely ill and injured patients. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to stabilize, assess, and treat emergent conditions. Your clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
