Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Assignment Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its Emergency Department. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Location: Johns Creek, GA
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Georgia or Compact nursing license in hand
- NIHSS certification and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acute and emergent patient presentations. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, dysrhythmia monitoring and interpretation, stroke protocol involvement (NIHSS assessment), and emergency interventions. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic, high-acuity environment.
