Cath Lab Technologist | Travel Contract | Morgantown, WV

This 13-week travel contract places you in an active cardiac catheterization lab performing a broad range of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, as well as endovascular peripheral interventions. The position is available ASAP with the possibility of extension.

Schedule

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 07:00–17:30
• On-call: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4–6 weeks, including holidays

Clinical Scope

You will participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiology alongside endovascular peripheral procedures, including:

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and PTCA
• Cardiac stent placement and rotablator atherectomy
• IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion
• Temporary pacemaker placement
• Laser-assisted procedures
• IVC filter placement, angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement
• Upper and lower extremity angiography
• Vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)
• Hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5–2 years of experience in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab
• Travel experience required
• Active ARRT (R) credential required; ARRT (CI) preferred
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) required
• West Virginia Medical Imaging License required (pending accepted for submission)
• Preferred experience: Electrophysiology lab, Interventional Radiology
• Scrubs provided

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs; maximum lift of 50 lbs.

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.
