Interventional Radiology & Cardiology Technologist
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Salisbury, NC
About the Role
Join a combination interventional radiology and cardiology lab where you'll assist providers with diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role is approximately 90% IR with additional cardiology and vascular cases.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate during IR and cardiology procedures
- Assist providers with diagnostic and interventional cases
- Perform EKG lead placement
- Maintain sterile field and support case flow
- Support device implants (PPM, ICD)
Requirements
Experience & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years IR experience (required)
- ACLS, BLS
- ARRT or RCIS
Skills:
- Scrub and circulate competency
- Telemetry monitoring
- Familiarity with IR procedures including stent placement, angiography, drainage procedures, and biopsies
Preferred:
- ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience
- EKG lead placement experience
Schedule & Expectations
- Call: Minimum 7 days per month (typically two call weeks and one call weekend)
- STEMI callback time: 30 minutes
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- No float requirement
- No holiday time-off permitted
- Scrubs provided
Additional Information
- 40–80 hour orientation
- You'll begin directly on the unit Monday; Dimensions training follows
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Must be available to start within 48 hours of signing
