Emergency Department RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week contract beginning December 1, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 3x12-hour (18:00–06:30)
- Weekends: Every other weekend, with potential to exceed based on unit needs
- Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off once per two-week pay period
- Floating: You may be requested to float to nearby sister facilities; float refusal may result in assignment termination
Clinical Environment
This is a high-volume emergency department managing comprehensive cardiac care, STEMI interventions, stroke protocols, and behavioral health cases. You'll work in a fast-paced setting with diverse patient acuity and clinical complexity.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER experience within the last year; prior experience in a 200+ volume facility required
- Licenses & Certifications: Current state license (compact license acceptable), ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, PALS
- Availability: Must commit to working at least 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Note: All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
