Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated care for telemetry patients. You will utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while supervising and directing nursing staff activities. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
Shift & Duration
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in California
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor telemetry patients; collect and analyze relevant clinical data
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing team members
- Educate patients and families; provide health information to treatment team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to promote safe, healing environment
- Delegate appropriately and ensure continuity of care through discharge planning
