Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This ICU travel nursing role is based at a well-established acute care facility in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The unit manages high-acuity adult patients requiring intensive monitoring, critical assessment, and complex care coordination.

Shift Details

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week (36 or 48 hours available)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Anticipated start: December 7, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated, patient-centered nursing care in an intensive care setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Supervise and delegate to nursing team members using professional judgment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in California (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety compliance required
