NICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced RN to deliver coordinated nursing care in the NICU. You'll manage assigned patient groups, supervise nursing staff as appropriate, and collaborate across disciplines to provide safe, family-centered care for neonates and their families.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
• 36–48 hour weeks
• 13-week contract
• Start date: December 7, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (California)
• Current BLS certification from an AHA-approved vendor
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E Certification
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
• Critical care or NICU experience strongly preferred

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver direct patient care using the nursing process
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and delegate to nursing staff appropriately
• Provide patient and family education
• Participate in discharge planning
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed
