ICU Registered Nurse | Los Angeles, CA | Days | 13-Week Contract

This position is in an ICU setting serving a diverse urban patient population in the Boyle Heights community of Los Angeles. The unit manages high-acuity cases requiring comprehensive critical care nursing, with an emphasis on coordinated, multidisciplinary care delivery.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed
• 13-week contract, start date December 7, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Supervise and delegate to various levels of nursing staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, patient-centered care
• Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning
• Apply critical thinking and independent clinical judgment in a high-acuity environment

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN licensure in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) — from an approved vendor
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent ICU or acute care RN experience
• BSN preferred
• Electronic health records experience required
