Surgical Technologist – Vascular/Endovascular Surgery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support vascular and endovascular surgical cases. You will provide instrumentation, anticipate surgeon needs, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced OR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in vascular and endovascular surgical procedures
- Manage instrumentation and central processing knowledge
- Float to General Surgery when vascular case volumes are low
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and surgical judgment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- BLS certification required
- CST certification preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years current or very recent experience in Vascular/Endovascular surgery
Schedule & Call
- Hours: 40 per week
- Choose: Four 10-hour days OR five 8-hour shifts
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Call Commitment:
- 2–3 days per week (varies with staffing needs)
- Every other weekend call (Friday end-of-shift through Monday 7:00 AM)
- Possible holiday call rotation
