Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN circulator for its cardiac catheterization lab. This is a 13-week contract position starting November 2, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 06:00 - 16:30 (days)
- Schedule: 4 x 10 days per week
- Call: Rotating on-call weekends required
Clinical Scope
You'll work in a busy cath lab performing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including:
- Left heart catheterization (LHC)
- Complete heart catheterization
- Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Chronic total occlusion (CTO) intervention
- Peripheral interventions
- Electrophysiology (EP) implants
The lab handles high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support. Experience with Impella, IABP, shockwave, ROTA, Penumbra, and PE thrombectomy is preferred. TEE, temporary pacing, and stress/nuclear medicine experience are also valued.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Demonstrated competency as a cath lab circulator for standard procedures
- Strong team communication and flexibility
Unit Details
- 2 procedure rooms
- Team of 11 staff (RN supervisors, RN IIs, techs, RCIS)
- Hospital scrubs provided
- No floating requirements
