ECHO Technologist
Position Overview
Join the facility's cardiac imaging department as an ECHO Technologist on a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week, performing echocardiograms and supporting advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete echocardiograms independently
- Conduct stress echos and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Apply 3D echocardiography techniques
- Collaborate with the cardiac care team to deliver high-quality patient diagnostics
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience
- State of Texas ECHO Tech certification (ARDMS or RCIS)
- Ability to perform echocardiograms independently
Preferred Skills
- TEE and 3D echocardiography knowledge
- Strong team collaboration skills

- Floating to other units as needed
- Professional dress code: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket
- Grooming standards: neat, professional appearance; visible piercings other than ears not permitted; body art covered when feasible
