Radiology Technologist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a night shift role (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a high-volume radiology department. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

You'll perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including routine radiography, portable radiography, and OR radiography. The department handles a high patient volume, with the Emergency Department being a primary focus area. This role requires flexibility to adapt to variable patient ratios and a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification
• Texas Medical Board registration
• Proficiency in general and portable radiography
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
• Self-motivated approach to a busy overnight schedule

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Float Area: Primarily Emergency Department
• Weekends: Optional — pick up extra shifts only as desired
• Call: None required

Work Environment

The night shift typically operates with a smaller team. You'll be expected to handle multiple responsibilities independently while maintaining strong communication with colleagues. Collaborative problem-solving and self-direction are essential.
