Radiology Technologist – Evening Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist for an evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) in a high-volume radiology department. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Clinical Scope
You'll perform general radiography, portable radiography, and OR radiography in a fast-paced environment. The role is primarily ED-focused, requiring flexibility and strong communication skills in a busy setting with variable patient volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and portable radiographic procedures
- Operate imaging equipment in emergency and operating room settings
- Work independently and collaboratively with nursing, physician, and technical staff
- Primary floating area: Emergency Department
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification
- Texas Medical Board registration
- Ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills
Schedule & Logistics
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (evening)
- No on-call requirement
- Weekend shifts available on an optional, pick-up basis only
- Dress Code: Olive tops, black pants
