ICU Travel RN — Thousand Oaks, CA
13-Week Contract | Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours Guaranteed
This high-acuity ICU cares for a complex neurological and cardiovascular patient population, including stroke, post-open-heart surgery, and patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support. The unit manages a broad scope of critical care interventions in a collaborative, teaching-oriented environment.
Clinical Requirements — Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years of critical care experience (excluding travel assignments)
- External Ventricular Drain (EVD) management and monitoring
- Ventilator management and vasoactive drug administration
- Hypothermia protocol experience
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Post-open-heart care, hemodynamics, and ABG interpretation
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
Preferred Skills:
- Central line placement assistance
- Intubation support

- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
