Travel RN – Emergency Department | Denver, CO | Night Shift
Join a fast-paced Emergency Department team for a 13-week travel contract in Denver, Colorado. This night shift position (19:00–07:00) offers 36 guaranteed hours per week in a clinical environment that values compassionate, skilled nurses ready to work at the top of their license.
Unit Overview
The ED manages a diverse patient population across a broad acuity spectrum. The team is experienced and collaborative, with a staffing model that includes charge nurses and EMTs to support RNs on each shift.
Procedures & Clinical Scope
- Port access, IV starts, venipuncture, and nasal wash
- Point-of-care testing (troponin, lactic acid, urine dip)
- EKG and Foley catheter placement
Required Certifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital ED experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC (PALS accepted in lieu of ENPC)
- CPI Blue Card
Preferred Qualifications
- CEN or CPEN certification
- Ultrasound-guided IV competency
- Pediatric emergency experience

- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: December 7, 2026
