Nighttime Hospital Pharmacist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Pharmacist for a unique 7-on/7-off night shift schedule. You will work Thursday nights through Thursday mornings, 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, operating as the sole Pharmacist during the critical hours of 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM with Certified Pharmacy Technician support throughout your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all pharmacy operations and clinical decision-making during night hours
- Provide medication therapy management and support to nursing and clinical staff
- Oversee medication safety and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with the pharmacy technician team to ensure accurate dispensing and inventory management
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Pharm D. degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
- One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility
