Oncology Nurse – Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced oncology nurse for its inpatient oncology unit. This is a 13-week contract position in Atlanta, GA, starting December 7, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
- OR option: 2 × 8-hour shifts and 2 × 12-hour shifts, based on unit needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- BCLS certification
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR experience required)
- Ability to manage 3–4 patients per shift, based on acuity
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage intravenous lines (peripheral, PICC, and port access)
- Administer blood products, IVIG, electrolytes, and oral/IV immunotherapies
- Collaborate with providers and patients on symptom management and best practice care
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN)
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card
- Clinical research experience
