Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced pediatric critical care nurse to join a float pool supporting multiple high-acuity units: PICU, NICU, and CVICU. You'll provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and support discharge planning. You may also float to acute medical-surgical departments and the emergency department as needed.

Shift & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 29, 2026

Unit Information

Work in a collaborative critical care environment with charge nurses and patient care technicians on your team. You'll care for pediatric patients across multiple high-acuity settings.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Pediatric ICU, CVICU, or NICU
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Active RN license

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care or emergency room experience
• TNCC certification
