Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

Position Overview

Join the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool as a registered nurse providing direct care across multiple high-acuity pediatric units. You'll implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, document patient conditions, and work closely with charge nurses and patient care technicians to deliver excellent outcomes.

Clinical Setting

You'll float to support the Pediatric ICU, NICU, and Cardiac ICU, with potential assignments to acute medical-surgical departments and the emergency room. These units manage critically ill and post-operative pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and skilled intervention.

Shift & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in pediatric ICU, CVICU, or NICU
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Professional references and background check required

Preferred Experience

• Acute care or emergency room background
