Night Shift ICU Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care in a critical care environment, managing high-acuity cases and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
Schedule & Duration
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Location: Atlanta, GA
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months ICU experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients
- Assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and implement interventions
- Float to Observation and Medical-Surgical units as staffing needs require
- Work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and nursing staff
- Document care and communicate patient status effectively
