About the Role

Report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families to deliver individualized, compassionate nursing care. You'll manage patient assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize urgent needs
• Develop and implement collaborative care plans
• Perform nursing procedures (EKGs, blood draws, IV starts) accurately and safely
• Administer medications according to facility protocols and document thoroughly
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure patient comfort (fresh water, supply restocking)
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Document patient responses, progress, and shift handoffs
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and infection control standards
• Assist with patient education and staff orientation as needed
• Coordinate with other departments for diagnostic tests and patient transfers

Required Qualifications

• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Strong physical stamina; ability to walk, bend, lift, and perform manual patient care
• Excellent assessment and communication skills
• Dependable attendance and professional demeanor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and charting systems
• Flexibility and openness to change

Dress Code

Caribbean Blue scrubs required.
