CT Tech
CT / X-Ray Technologist — Travel Contract
Greensboro, NC | Nights | 13-Week Contract
This role requires dual competency in both CT and X-Ray. You'll work in a fast-paced environment covering Emergency Department and outpatient imaging for a diverse patient population spanning pediatrics through geriatrics.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Primary days: Friday–Sunday, with flexibility for weekday nights as needed
- Float to other facility campuses may be required on occasion
Clinical Scope
*X-Ray:* Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Upper and Lower Extremities — including portables
*CT:* Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Cardiac CT (Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scores, Perfusion Studies)
IV access is an essential daily function; expect approximately 8–9 peripheral IV starts per shift.
Required Certifications & Credentials
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)
- BLS
- Active, in-hand license at time of submission
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED imaging experience required
- PACS and portable imaging experience required
- Pediatric and infant experience preferred; Samsung X-Ray familiarity preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Non-billable orientation modules (approximately 2–4 hours) completed during onboarding
