CT / Radiography Technologist — Outpatient & Emergency Department

Greensboro, NC | 13-Week Contract | Evening Shift

This dual-modality role requires proficiency in both CT and X-Ray. The position is set within a busy outpatient and emergency department environment serving adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients, with a daily caseload of approximately 20.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday, 4×8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM. Float to other campus locations may be required on an as-needed basis.

Clinical Scope

*X-Ray:* Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Upper and Lower Extremities

*CT:* Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Brain Perfusion, CT Angiography, Multiplanar Reconstruction

*Specialized Studies:* Cardiac CT including Pulmonary Vein CT, Cardiac Calcium Scoring, and Perfusion Studies

Candidates must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs independently — approximately 8–9 per day — and administering contrast media.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED imaging experience
• Experience with PACS and portable radiography
• Experience with equipment

Preferred

• Samsung X-Ray experience
• Experience imaging infants and pediatric patients

Compliance Notes

• Active license must be in hand at time of submission
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Background check: no open cases permitted
