Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Complex Care Unit | Rochester, NY | Nights | 16-Week Contract

This travel RN position is on a complex care Med/Surg Telemetry unit managing a diverse medical-surgical patient population with telemetry monitoring needs. The role requires charge nurse capability and flexibility across a rotating night/day schedule.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with day rotation; no more than 50% nights)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other week
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks | Start: January 5, 2027
• Location: Rochester, NY
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
• Charge nurse experience required (training available if needed)

Licenses & Certifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS

• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• Flexible scheduling per facility needs
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
