Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM). You'll care for patients across a range of acute medical and surgical diagnoses, monitoring telemetry and managing post-operative recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required during the contract
• Must remain flexible to meet unit census needs

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
• At least 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
• Non-U.S. candidates must demonstrate 2 years U.S. work history
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Key Details

• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Charge Role: Charge experience requested but not required; training provided if needed
• Float Requirement: May be assigned to other units as needed
• Scheduling: Block booking may be offered but is not guaranteed
