Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Rochester, NY
This is a 16-week travel contract on a brand-new Med/Tele unit in Rochester, NY. The unit manages a general medical-surgical and telemetry patient population across a standard acute care setting.
Shift & Scheduling
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Minimum 1 holiday shift required per contract
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
- Float to other units required as needed
Clinical Role
- Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required
- Must be adaptable to evolving scheduling needs on a newly opened unit
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in med-surg or telemetry
- Non-U.S.-trained candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history
