Night Shift RN – Medical/Surgical (Colorectal & Bariatrics)

Position Overview

Join the medical/surgical nursing team in a colorectal and bariatric care unit. You'll provide direct patient care during night shifts in a dynamic acute care setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Block scheduling available upon request (not guaranteed)

Clinical Scope

Care for patients recovering from colorectal and bariatric procedures. You'll manage post-operative care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and comfort.

Requirements

• 2+ years acute hospital experience (1 recent year in medical/surgical or telemetry)
• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years U.S. work history (required for non-U.S. trained candidates)
• Willingness to adapt to facility scheduling needs

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start: January 5, 2027
• Residency: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required

This is a straightforward night shift assignment for a seasoned med/surg nurse ready to deliver quality care in a specialty surgical setting.
