Polysomnography Respiratory Therapist – Sleep Lab
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Weekends and holidays as scheduled
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
About the Role
You'll perform sleep studies in the Sleep Lab, working with pediatric patients—including those with complex medical needs. Your responsibilities include conducting evaluations at the bedside and in critical care areas, following established protocols and procedures. Approximately 2 tests per shift with support from one technician per assignment.
Required Qualifications
- West Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRTR or LRTC)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification via NBRC
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Comfort working with medically complex children
Work Environment
- Float as first available within the department
- Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
- Department-specific orientation provided
- On-site leadership and physician support
