Night Shift RN – Acute Care of Elderly Unit
About the Role
Join the Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care Unit for a 16-week night shift contract. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, caring for patients requiring acute medical-surgical and telemetry-level care. This unit specializes in managing the complex needs of older adult patients in transition.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Weekends: 1 shift per week, or 2 shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Commit to working at least 1 holiday during the contract
- Flexibility: Schedule adjustments based on facility needs; block booking may be available but is not guaranteed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
- 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- U.S. work history: 2 years (required for non-U.S. candidates)
- Residency: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Nice to Have
- Charge nurse experience (requested but not required)
