Emergency Department RN – 16-Week Contract
The Opportunity
Join a high-acuity Emergency Department offering rotating 12-hour day shifts (3A–3P and 7A–7P). This role is ideal for experienced RNs seeking flexible scheduling and the chance to work in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Unit Overview
You'll work in a busy ED managing diverse patient populations across high-acuity cases. The facility offers specialized geriatric emergency care as an accredited geriatric ED, giving you exposure to comprehensive emergency nursing across all ages and acuity levels.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shifts: 3 × 12-hour rotating days; 36 hours per week
- Scheduling: Rotating blocked schedule available; fixed blocks (Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon) by request
- Weekend requirement: One per contracted week (or two every other weekend)
- Holiday requirement: At least one per contract
- On-call: Highly recommended (not required); ~2 hours per week average; 7P–7A availability in 4, 8, 12, or 16-hour blocks
Qualifications
- Active New York RN license
- BLS and NIH certifications
- 2 years recent nursing experience
- 2 years U.S. work history (required for international candidates)

- Residency requirement: Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
