Night Shift RN – Acute Care of Elderly & Alternate Level of Care
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift contract on its Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care unit. This is a dynamic nursing environment caring for older adults with complex medical and surgical needs.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
- Flexibility with scheduling needs is essential
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years acute hospital experience
- 1 recent year in med-surg or telemetry
- 2 years of U.S. work history (required for international candidates)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Additional Details
- Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required
- Block booking may be available but is not guaranteed
- 112 guaranteed contract hours
