Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Nights | Rochester, NY | 16-Week Contract

This night-shift opportunity places you on a busy medical/telemetry unit caring for a diverse acute-care patient population. The unit manages a range of medical and telemetry cases, with an expectation that nurses can confidently monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms and shifting patient conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Start date: January 5, 2027
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Clinical Expectations

• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Charge nurse role requested but not required; training provided if needed
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 1 recent year in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. work history

This role is well-suited for an experienced telemetry nurse comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with schedule flexibility and cross-unit float expectations.
