MRI Technologist | Days | Des Moines, IA | 13-Week Contract
This MRI Technologist role is a Monday–Friday day shift position, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 40 hours per week. The facility serves a diverse patient population including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases, with a focus on high-quality cross-sectional imaging.
Schedule & On-Call
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | 40 hrs/week
- On-call: one weeknight (Sun–Thu) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
- Holiday rotation: required to work 1–2 winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Clinical Scope
- MRI imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Power injection and contrast administration
- Float requirement across multiple campuses within the health system
Scrubs: Charcoal gray
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience
- Proficiency with both GE MRI equipment
- ARMRIT or ARRT with MR certification (R)(MR)
- Current/recent hospital experience
- Level II Trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel experience
- Radiology information system experience
- Level I Trauma experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license)
- Contract length: 13 weeks
