Night Shift RN – ICU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for night shifts in a mixed-specialty ICU setting. You'll provide high-acuity care to adult and geriatric patients across trauma, neuro, medical, surgical, and cardiovascular specialties.

Shift & Schedule

• Night: 3×12-hour (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend
• 13-week contract
• Float required to progressive care and telemetry units as needed

Patient Care & Clinical Scope

You'll manage:

• High-acuity patients in trauma, neuro, MICU, and SICU settings
• Cardiovascular device patients (Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD)
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Ventilator management and sedation protocols
• EEG monitoring
• IV therapy (PICC lines, A-lines, central lines, blood administration)
• IV insulin protocols and vasoactive drips

Patient Ratios

Required Qualifications

• California RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Proficiency with medical, neuro, surgical, and trauma care

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS and CCRN certifications
• CVICU experience
