PCU RN – Float Pool (Cardiac Focus)

Position Overview

Clinical Scope

• Manage acute cardiac cases: STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and post-cardiac intervention patients
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)
• Float to various PCU/IMCU floors based on census and acuity
• May be assigned to telemetry beds with lower-acuity cardiac patients

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac or telemetry nursing
• Familiarity with electronic health records
• Flexible for float assignments across units
• Minimal time-off requests

Schedule & Contract Details

• Shift: Day 12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
• Contract Duration: 89 weeks
• Start Date: December 7, 2026
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
