Night Shift RN – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 16-week night contract on a medical-surgical telemetry unit. You'll work 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with flexibility to choose either 36 or 48 hours per week.

Unit Details

The med-surg telemetry unit provides care to patients requiring monitoring and complex medical management. You'll be part of a collaborative team supporting patients across a range of acute conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and telemetry monitoring
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities (training provided if needed)
• Float to other units as staffing needs require
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling and block booking requests

Requirements

• Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in medical-surgical or telemetry
• 2 years U.S. work history required for international candidates
• Willingness to work charge role
• Commitment to work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Schedule Details

• 1 weekend shift per week OR 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• 12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• 112 guaranteed contract hours
